"Книжка с картинками" как феномен культуры (иллюстрированная книга, лубок, комикс, графический роман)
Чем родственны и чем своеобразны лубок, карикатура, комикс, графический роман - трансмедийные «кентавры», привлекающие к себе нарастающий интерес? Каким инструментарием мы располагаем для их аналитического описания? Чем именно в сследовательской работе с ними могут быть полезны друг другу лингвисты, литературоведы, искусствоведы, культурологи, антропологи?
Проект «Гуманитарные чтения» - ежегодный международный форум на базе РГГУ, в ходе которого ведущие специалисты из России и зарубежных стран обсуждают широкий круг вопросов развития гуманитарного знания. В Наблюдательный совет Гуманитарных чтений входят крупнейшие российские ученые.

You are cordially invited to participate in the XIV International Bakhtin Conference. The conference will be organized around various coordinated topic areas 1) The philological issue (the situation of Bakhtinian texts, with particular reference to the critical edition in seven volumes as yet unfinished; 2) Bakhtin philosopher and theorist (his contribution to philosophy, literary theory, religious thought, aesthetics, anthropology and contemporary human sciences); 3) Bakhtin and literary, cultural and anthropological history (corpuses, bodies, objects, languages, chronotopes). There will also be special sessions on the Bakhtin Circle, religious thought, linguistic and mediological research, and musicology. However, papers and panel proposals on all aspects of the work of the Bakhtin Circle are welcome: genesis, influences, comparisons, reception, extensions, reformulations, exegesis, textology, translation, teaching, and in all spheres in which Bakhtinian thought is proving to be particularly productive. Что имеется ввиду? Во-первых, прошло три года со времени публикации книжки Вадима Волкова и Олега Хархордина Теория практик (2008). Мы собираемся обсудить как критические оценки книги и дискуссию по поводу ее текстов, так и новые работы, появившиеся за последнее время, которые применяют и развивают исследовательские подходы, описанные в книге.

Selon Michel Foucault (1976), ce qui a longtemps caractérisé le pouvoir du Souverain, c’est le droit absolu, pour celui-ci, de vie et de mort sur ses sujets. C’est d’ailleurs plutôt un droit de mort, probablement hérité du droit romain de patria potesta, c’est à dire le droit pour le père disposer de la vie de ses enfants et de ses esclaves : tuer ou laisser vivre. Si le Souverain tuait rarement ses sujets directement, sauf s’ils se rebellaient contre lui, il pouvait exiger de ses sujets mâles qu’ils partent en guerre pour le défendre. Or, la nouvelle fonction du pouvoir souverain, de nos jours, serait plutôt celle de ‘gestionnaire de la vie’. Ce pouvoir sur la vie, ou biopouvoir se serait développé lentement, à partir du XVIIème siècle, en deux formes de base qui ne sont pas contradictoires et qui s’entrecroisent : celle des pratiques disciplinaires qui représentent le corps comme une machine et visent à le rendre plus fort, plus productif ; et celle qui n’apparaît que vers le milieu du XVIIIème siècle et dont l’objet est le « corps espèce », support de processus biologiques : prolifération, naissances, mortalité, niveaux de santé, espérance de vie, etc. Discipliner le corps et réguler la population sont les deux pôles autour desquels le biopouvoir se serait organisé. Ce biopouvoir est, selon Foucault, un élément indispensable au développement du capitalisme car il rend possible « l’insertion contrôlée des corps dans la machine productive ». Colloque international interdisciplinaire Paris, 16-17 septembre 2011 Les Français dans la vie intellectuelle et scientifique de la Russie au XIXe s. Organisé par le Centre Roland Mousnier (Paris IV) Dans le cadre du projet ANR sur les Français dans la vie intellectuelle en Russie, XVIIIe – XXe s. Organisateurs : Francine-Dominique Liechtenhan (Paris IV/CNRS), Vladislav Rjéoutski (Paris Ouest - Nanterre - La Défense)
Le projet ANR sur les Français dans la vie intellectuelle en Russie a réuni, depuis son lancement, de nombreux chercheurs, notamment à l'occasion de deux colloques internationaux : le premier, en décembre 2009 à Paris, portait sur la francophilie et la francophonie dans la Russie d'Elisabeth Petrovna et le deuxième, en septembre 2010 à Moscou, sur le thème général du projet. Ces rencontres ont démontré que, si de grandes percées ont été faites dans la connaissance de l'apport des Français dans la vie intellectuelle russe au XVIIIe et au XXe s., comparativement le XIXe reste peu connu. Dernièrement, la sortie du guide des sources de l’histoire de France dans les Archives russes préparé par l’Ecole des Chartes et l’université d’Etat des humanités et des sciences humaines de Moscou (RGGOu) a permis de se rendre mieux compte de la richesse des fonds d’archives russes. Nous avons voulu, pour cette rencontre, limiter la période concernée à ce grand siècle russe qui a vu s'opérer dans beaucoup de domaines des progrès extraordinaires : l'essor de la science en Russie, la véritable naissance de la littérature russe, l'ouverture d'un large débat sur la civilisation russe... C'est au XIXe s. que la culture russe devient un phénomène de dimension européenne et mondiale. Pour mieux appréhender la continuité de ce processus, nous avons choisi comme cadre chronologique le « long » XIXe qui va de la Révolution Française jusqu’à la première guerre mondiale. Quel a été le rôle des intellectuels français dans l’éclosion de la culture et de la tradition intellectuelle russe au XIXe siècle ? Quels changements peut-on relever par rapport au XVIIIe ? 11th Annual Conference of the European Cinemas Research Forum, in conjunction with the Project on European Cinemas (Montreal). Montreal, 22-24 September 2011
For its 11th annual conference, the European Cinema Research Forum (ECRF), in conjunction with the Montreal Project on European Cinemas (PEC), will explore the imbrications between European cinema and practices of display. As recent research in early cinema has shown, the very emergence of motion pictures was bound up with modern practices of display, from the fairground to the museum and the scientific lecture, and one can hardly understand the history of film and filmic movements without taking into account the contexts of audiences and display practices in which films have found their meanings. Recently, the reemergence of 'attractions' in mainstream film, as well as the adoption of the museum space by avant-garde filmmakers, have helped to place questions of display at the forefront of cinematic experience and scholarship. This conference will ask how this focus on display can help to understand the history of European cinema in particular. How has the cinema, as a key display practice of the 20th century, helped to generate and contest notions of 'Europeanness'? What sorts of dialogues have moving images maintained with other forms of display and with broader dispositifs of visual knowledge and power central to the articulation of 'European' identity? Not least of all, what are the limits of the display paradigm, with its emphasis on the visual, for understanding European film? We welcome papers exploring any aspect of the relation between European cinema(s) and display from the 19th century to the present.
